What Pack Run does: it finds dog parks near you and keeps a profile for your dog.
Pack Run has no account. If you allow location, Pack Run rounds your position to 2 decimal places (about 1 km) and sends that approximate location to OpenStreetMap-based park search: Overpass (overpass-api.de, overpass.kumi.systems) and Photon (photon.komoot.io). Those services see your network (IP) address with each search, as any website does. Your dogs, their photos and your settings stay on this phone. Pack Run sends nothing to a Night Orders server. No account. No chat. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. Keep is optional: a 1-month free trial through Apple for new subscribers, then $0.99 a month. One dog is free; Keep unlocks dogs 2–8. If Keep ends, the dogs you added stay.
App Store privacy label: Coarse Location, used for App Functionality, not linked to you, not used for tracking. No other data is collected.

Short version: You can use Pack Run without an account. Location finds parks (While Using the App only). Pack Run sends an approximate location, rounded to about 1 km, to Overpass and Photon, which also see your IP address. Your dogs and photos stay on this phone. Pack Run does not send anything to our servers. Keep is a 1-month free trial for new subscribers, then $0.99 a month; the park finder and one dog are free, and Keep unlocks dogs 2–8.
2. What the app is
Pack Run lists nearby OpenStreetMap dog parks, shows how far away each one is, and opens Apple Maps for directions. You can set up your dog with a name and a photo. One dog is free; Keep unlocks dogs 2–8.
It is not a veterinary product. It is not a tracker. It has no account and no social feed.
A live park count is not part of this version. If a future update adds one, we will update this policy and the app's privacy answers before that update ships.
On iOS the app is built with Capacitor (WKWebView). What the app saves is kept in the app's own storage on this phone.
3. On your device
Pack Run stores on this phone:
- Your dogs, up to eight: name, a small square copy of the photo you choose, and the "How many today?" number
- Which dog is selected
- Your theme and units settings
- Whether Keep is on, the price Apple shows and the trial status, so Keep keeps working offline
- The time you first opened the app
When you delete a dog, OOOPS can put it back until you leave the app. Deleting the app removes everything Pack Run stored. We cannot restore it, because we never had a copy. Your own iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a computer) may include this data under your backup settings; Pack Run itself has no sync and no export.
4. Location (optional)
If you allow location While Using the App, Pack Run reads your position on this phone to find dog parks and to show distances. Before anything leaves the phone, the position is rounded to 2 decimal places (about 1 km). Pack Run sends that rounded position, with a search for dog parks around it, to:

These services receive your network (IP) address with each request, as any website does, and handle it under their own privacy policies. Pack Run does not send them your name, your dogs, your photos or any device identifier. These services never receive your exact position.

Pack Run does not ask for Always location, does not use location in the background, and does not use location for ads or tracking. If you do not allow location, Pack Run cannot list parks; the rest of the app still works.

Pack Run uses your location while you use the app to find dog parks near you. It sends an approximate location, rounded to about 1 km, to OpenStreetMap-based park search.
5. Apple Maps
Directions and Open in Maps open Apple's Maps app with the park's location. Maps and Nearby in Maps open Apple's Maps app to search for dog parks around your current position, and pass that position to Maps. This happens only when you tap, and Apple's privacy policy covers what Maps does with it.
6. Apple Watch
Through Apple's Watch connection, the phone sends your paired Apple Watch up to 12 nearby park names and their positions, and whether Keep is on. Dogs and photos are not sent to the Watch.
7. Keep and purchases
Apple handles Keep purchases, trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds. Pack Run asks Apple's StoreKit, on the phone, whether Keep is active. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple Account. Cancel in Apple Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Pack Run does not connect to a Night Orders server.
10. Analytics and crash reports
Pack Run has no analytics or crash SDK. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give us crash reports under Apple's policy.
11. Children
Pack Run is not directed at children under 13. It has no account, chat or ads, and it sends no personal information to us.
12. Retention
- On this phone: until you delete a dog or delete the app
- On our side: nothing, because this version sends us nothing
- Overpass and Photon keep their own request logs under their own policies
13. Security
What Pack Run saves stays in the app's sandbox on this phone. Park searches use HTTPS. No method is 100% secure.
